Afternoon Tea A’ La Francaise a Palazzo Parigi

Il momento del te rappresenta un momento di puro piacere, per tradizione si il tè pomeridiano, accompagnato da una varietà di deliziosi panini, pasticcini e salatini è una tradizioni tipicamente britannica, anche se è conosciuta e apprezzata in tutto il mondo. Si dice che ad iniziarla fu, nel 1840, Anna Russel, Duchessa di Bedford, amica e dama di corte della Regina Vittoria. percependo sempre un certo languorino in attesa della cena, prese l’abitudine di farsi servire come spuntino del tè accompagnato da pane, burro e dolci. Durante l’estate invitò alcuni amici che pare gradirono molto questa idea. Al rientro a Londra queste riunioni proseguirono e cominciarono a diffondersi nell’alta società. Incuriosita anche la Regina Vittoria cominciò a organizzare degli Afternoon Tea per i quali si doveva però adottare un un abbigliamento apposito.

Nell’elegante e impeccabile atmosfera di Palazzo Parigi si può degustare un ottimo Afternoon Tea. Io ho scelto quello A’ La Francaise: Assortimento di sandwiches, piccola pasticceria, e un tè a scelta (ho preferito quello bianco) e un calice di champagne.

Tea time is a moment of pure pleasure, traditionally the afternoon tea, accompanied by a variety of delicious sandwiches, pastries and pretzels is a typically British tradition, although it is known and appreciated all over the world. During that summer she invited some friends who liked this idea. Upon came back to London these meetings continued and began to spread in high society. Intrigued, The Queen Victoria also began to organize Afternoon Teas for which, however, there was a special dress code.
In the elegant and impeccable atmosphere of Palazzo Parigi we can taste an excellent Afternoon Tea. I chose the A’ La Francais one: Assortment of finger sandwiches, pastries, a cup of white tea and a glass of champagne.
