Si è appena conclusa la 82esima edizione della Mostra del Cinema di Venezia. Un’edizione straordinaria e seguitissima. Il pubblico ha particolarmente amato il Red Carpet, curiosissimo di vedere quali outfit avrebbero scelto i protagonisti e le protagoniste. Tra le più ammirate Amal Clooney che ha scelto una creazione del 1995 di Jean Louis Scherrer; Naomi Watts ha indossato un abito della Maison Valentino; Emily Blunt un dress gioiello con bustier e drappegg di Tamara Ralph; Cate Blanchett un abito del 2022 di Armani Privè; Julia Roberts ha incantato in un look su misura firmato da Dario Vitale per Versace e Jude Low uno smoking di Brunello Cucinelli. Tanti i film in gara e le proiezioni che stampa e ospiti hanno seguito fino a che non sono stati finalmente annunciati i vincitori.
La Giuria di VENEZIA 82, presieduta da Alexander Payne, ha assegnato il LEONE D’ORO per il miglior film a “FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER” di Jim Jarmusch (USA, Irlanda, Francia); il LEONE D’ARGENTO – GRAN PREMIO DELLA GIURIA a “THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB” di Kaouther Ben Hania (Tunisia, Francia) e il LEONE D’ARGENTO – PREMIO PER LA MIGLIORE REGIA a Benny Safdie per il film ” THE SMASHING MACHINE (USA)”. La COPPA VOLPI per la migliore interpretazione maschile è stata assegnata a Toni Servillo nel film LA GRAZIA di Paolo Sorrentino (Italia).
The 82nd Venice Film Festival has just come to an end. It was an extraordinary and highly popular edition. The public particularly loved the Red Carpet, eager to see what outfits the stars would choose. Among the most admired was Amal Clooney, who chose a 1995 creation by Jean Louis Scherrer; Naomi Watts wore a dress by Maison Valentino; Emily Blunt wore a jewelled dress with bustier and draping by Tamara Ralph; Cate Blanchett wore a 2022 dress by Armani Privè; Julia Roberts enchanted in a tailor-made look by Dario Vitale for Versace and Jude Low wore a tuxedo by Brunello Cucinelli. There were many films in competition and screenings that the press and guests followed until the winners were finally announced.
The Venice 82 Jury, chaired by Alexander Payne, awarded the GOLDEN LION for Best Film to Jim Jarmusch’s “FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER” (USA, Ireland, France); the SILVER LION – GRAND PRIX OF THE JURY to ‘THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB’ by Kaouther Ben Hania (Tunisia, France) and the SILVER LION – BEST DIRECTOR AWARD to Benny Safdie for the film ‘THE SMASHING MACHINE (USA)’. The COPPA VOLPI for Best Actor went to Toni Servillo in the film LA GRAZIA by Paolo Sorrentino (Italy).
