I vini La Scolca protagonisti alla presenza di Re Carlo e della Regina consorte Camilla

Una serata indimenticabile ha celebrato il secolare rapporto tra Regno Unito e Italia e l’eccellenza del buon cibo italiano. Presso Highgrove House, nel Gloucestshire, residenza privata di Sua Maestà, Re Carlo III d’Inghilterra e la Regina Consorte Camilla hanno presenziato alla serata per promuovere lo Slow Fashion e sottolineare, ancora una volta, il forte legame che lega i due paesi. All’evento erano presenti illustri personalità, tra queste: Helen Mirren, David e Victoria Beckham, Rod Stewart, Sienna Miller, l’Ambasciatore italiano in Gran Bretagna, Inigo Lambertini, e l’Ambasciatore britannico a Roma, Lord Edward Liewell e Stanley Tucci, grande esperto dell’universo enogastronomico tricolore. Lo sesso Tucci ha collaborato con lo chef Francesco Mazzei, raffinato ambasciatore della cucina italiana nel mondo, per la creazione dell’esclusivo menu italiano della serata con prodotti provenienti dal Regno Unito. Gli unici prodotti che sono stati fatti arrivare direttamente dall’Italia sono stati l’olio extravergine di oliva e i vini. Per questi ultimi un ruolo di primo piano lo ha giocato la cantina piemontese La Scolca, il cui Gavi dei Gavi Black Label 2023 ha accompagnato ben due dei piatti proposti nel corso della cena di gala. An unforgettable evening celebrated the centuries-old relationship between the United Kingdom and Italy and the excellence of good Italian food. At Highgrove House, in Gloucestshire, the private residence of Her Majesty, King Charles III of England and Queen Consort Camilla attended the evening to promote Slow Fashion and underline, once again, the strong bond that binds the two countries. The event was attended by illustrious personalities, including: Helen Mirren, David and Victoria Beckham, Rod Stewart, Sienna Miller, the Italian Ambassador to Great Britain, Inigo Lambertini, and the British Ambassador in Rome, Lord Edward Liewell and Stanley Tucci, a great expert on the Italian food and wine universe. Tucci has collaborated with chef Francesco Mazzei, a refined ambassador of Italian cuisine in the world, for the creation of the exclusive Italian menu of the evening with products from the United Kingdom. The only products that were brought directly from Italy were extra virgin olive oil and wines. For the latter, the Piedmontese winery La Scolca played a leading role, whose Gavi dei Gavi Black Label 2023 accompanied two of the dishes offered during the gala dinner. Chiara Soldati, CEO of La Scolca and Cavaliere del Lavoro, expressed her honor in being able to represent Italy in such a prestigious event.
