La Milano Fashion Week è moda, arte, cultura e soprattutto commistioni. Fay ha organizzato per l’occasione una splendida e fascionosa mostra fotografica che riunisce 40 scatti firmati da Michael Avedon, nipote di Richard Avedon, celeberrimo fotografo di moda.

Avedon ha voluto realizzarla in collaborazione con James Dylan, nipote del leggendario Bob Dylan, filmmaker e creative director. Insieme hanno reinterpretato i capi iconici di Fay in un viaggio che tocca le città di New York, Los Angeles, Londra e Milano, catturate alla luce dell’alba o a notte fonda. Il trench Morning è stato immortalato all’alba tra le strade di New York e a indossarlo c’erano Levy Dylan, fratello di James e modello; l’artista Eliot Sumner, figlio di Sting; l’attore e musicista Donald Cumming; l’artista e musicista A.L. Batha; il direttore della fotografia Barron Claiborne; l’attrice Perla Haney-Jardine, interprete di Kill Bill 2.

A Los Angeles e Londra i protagonisti sono stati il Double Coat e il Virginia, indossati, tra gli altri, dall’attore Duke Nicholson, nipote di Jack Nicholson, e dalla modella Dree Hemingway, nipote dello scrittore Ernest Hemingway. Mentre per Milano è stato scelto di ritrarre alcuni volti del panorama italiano tra cui la giovane attrice Gala Zohar Martinucci e l’artista Edoardo Dionea Cicconi.

Tra gli ospiti presenti alla serata milanese: Lennon Gallagher, figlio del frontman degli Oasis Liam Gallagher e volto di punta della moda contemporanea; il CEO di Tod’s Andrea Della Valle; l’attore Bruno Gouery (Emily in Paris); Johannes Huebl; Anna Dello Russo e numerosi altri volti noti del mondo sportivo, dei social e dello spettacolo.

Fay has organized for the occasion a splendid and fascinating photographic exhibition that brings together 40 shots signed by Michael Avedon, grandson of Richard Avedon, famous fashion photographer. Avedon wanted to make it in collaboration with James Dylan, grandson of the legendary Bob Dylan, filmmaker and creative director. Together they have reinterpreted Fay’s iconic garments on a journey that touches the cities of New York, Los Angeles, London and Milan, captured in the light of dawn or late at night. The Morning trench coat was immortalized at dawn on the streets of New York and wearing it were Levy Dylan, James’ brother and model; the artist Eliot Sumner, son of Sting; actor and musician Donald Cumming; the artist and musician A.L. Batha; cinematographer Barron Claiborne; the actress Perla Haney-Jardine, interpreter of Kill Bill 2.In Los Angeles and London the protagonists were the Double Coat and the Virginia, worn, among others, by the actor Duke Nicholson, nephew of Jack Nicholson, and by the model Dree Hemingway, granddaughter of the writer Ernest Hemingway. While for Milan it was chosen to portray some faces of the Italian scene including the young actress Gala Zohar Martinucci and the artist Edoardo Dionea Cicconi.Among the guests present at the Milanese evening: Lennon Gallagher, son of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and leading face of contemporary fashion; the CEO of Tod’s Andrea Della Valle; actor Bruno Gouery (Emily in Paris); Johannes Huebl; Anna Dello Russo and numerous other well-known faces from the world of sports, social media and entertainment.
