RM Sotheby’s and the 22nd annual Arizona auction at the OTTO Car Club in Scottsdale

Nel prestigioso OTTO Car Club di Scottsdale si è tenuta un’asta molto importante, la cui partecipazione era strettamente su invito. La regina di quest’asta è stata una bellissima Jaguar D-Type del 1955 rossa, venduta a un offerente al telefono per $ 6.000.000. Era presente anche il 95° delle 500 McLaren Senna del 2019 con carrozzeria Dramatic Visual Carbon, venduta per $ 1,044,000.

C’erano anche due bellissime Ferrari: l’esclusiva Ferrari 375 America Coupé by Vignale del 1954, uno dei soli tre esemplari esistenti, venduta per $ 2.557.000. Questa gran turismo è arrivata all’asta nella sua finitura originale, bordeaux e grigio argento con un interno beige e il suo motore originale Lampredi V-12 da 4,5 litri; la Ferrari 250 GT Alloy Coupé del 1956 di Boano, catturò anche l’attenzione degli offerenti, vendendo per un finale di $1.352.500. Infine ricordiamo la deliziosa Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster del 1957 presentata in Light Green Metallic con interni verde scuro, $ 1.066.500.

In the prestigious OTTO Car Club in Scottsdale, a very important auction was held, the participation was strictly by invitation. The queen of this auction was a beautiful red 1955 Jaguar D-Type, sold to a bidder on phone for $6,000,000. The second highest price achieved was an elegant and extremely rare 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Tourer by Corsica, one of eight examples bodied by the coachbuilder and just two examples in the four-seater configuration, which brought $4,735,000. Much admired the 2020 McLaren Speedtail, one of only 106 examples produced, it went to its next owner for $3,277,500. There was also the 2019 McLaren Senna, the 95^th of 500 examples produced and wearing Dramatic Visual Carbon Fiber bodywork, sold for $1,044,000. There were also two beautiful Ferrari: the exclusive 1954 Ferrari 375 America Coupé by Vignale, one of just three examples bodied, sold for $2,557,000. This gran turismo came to the Arizona auction in its original and stunning burgundy and silver-grey finish over a beige interior and retaining its original 4.5-liter Lampredi V-12 engine; the 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Alloy Coupe by Boano, also caught bidders’ attention, selling for a final $1,352,500. It was one of just 14 alloy-bodied coupes produced. Finally we remember the delightful 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster presented in Light Green Metallic over dark green interior with a dark green convertible top sold for $1,066,500.
