The New Academy Museum

Nel 2019 sarà inaugurato lo straordinario Academy Museum a Los Angeles. Un luogo magico dall’architettura avveniristica, pensato per gli amanti del cinema, che promette di diventare fulcro di eventi importanti e catalizzatore per gli estimatori. Il progetto architettonico è stato affidato all’architetto Renzo Piano, vincitore del Premio Pritzker. Promette di diventare un centro dinamico che regalerà emozioni straordinari immergendo il visitatore in esperienze sensoriali, legate alla realtà virtuale, coinvolgendolo in attività educative e d’intrattenimento e facendogli vivere in prima persona e in modo interattivo il mondo del cinema.

Tra i membri della fondazione: Ron Meyer (Chair), il Vicepresidente della NBCUniversa e il Presidente e co-fondatore della Creative Artists Agency; John Bailey regista, attuale Presidente dell’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Jason Blum (Treasurer), fondatore della Blumhouse Productions; Jim Gianopulos,  Presidente e CEO della Paramount Pictures; Tom Hanks, attore e regista; Dawn Hudson CEO dell’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Kathleen Kennedy produttrice; Alejandro Ramírez Magaña il CEO della Cinépolis; Ted Sarandos (Vice-Chair) presiede la Content Officer presso Netflix; Kimberly Steward (Secretary) è un interprete, una filantropa e una produttrice; Diane von Furstenberg,  stilista e imprenditrice; Kevin Yeaman il Presidente e capo esecutivo della Dolby Laboratories.

In 2019 will be inaugurated the extraordinary Academy Museum in Los Angeles. A magical place with a futuristic architecture, designed for movie lovers, which promises to become a hub of important events and catalyst for connoisseurs. The architectural project was entrusted to the architect Renzo Piano, winner of the Pritzker Prize. The Museum promises to be a dynamic center that will give extraordinary emotions by immersing the visitor in sensory experiences related to virtual reality entertainment and educational activities, involving the visitor and causing him to experience first hand and in an interactive way the films.

The members: Ron Meyer (Chair), is Vice Chairman of NBCUniversal and co-founder and former President of Creative Artists Agency; John Bailey is an American cinematographer and film director and resident of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Jason Blum (Treasurer), founder of Blumhouse Productions; Jim Gianopulos,  the Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures; Tom Hanks is a five-time Oscar-nominated actor and filmmaker; Dawn Hudson has served as the CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2011; Kathleen Kennedy has produced over 70 feature films; Alejandro Ramírez Magaña is CEO of Cinépolis; Ted Sarandos (Vice-Chair) has been the Chief Content Officer at Netflix since 2000; Kimberly Steward (Secretary) is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and producer; Diane von Furstenberg, entered the world of American fashion in the seventies; Kevin Yeaman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Dolby Laboratorie.
