Ludmilla Pop Art

Le atmosfere gotiche della notte di Halloween, popolata da esseri fantasiosi, talvolta terrificanti, talaltra affascinanti, sono ancora fresche nella nostra mente e mi conducono a incontrare i draghi, gli unicorni e le altre creature impresse sulle tele e sulle stoffe di Ludmilla Radchenko. Ludmilla ha pensato di trasferire i suoi quadri su tessuti pregiati per ricavarne foulard e cuscini, rendendo così la sua arte fruibile e portabile.  Ritrae soggetti mitologici e fiabeschi che portano con sé messaggi e significati intrinseci; racchiude in boccette di profumo l’essenza di alcune tra le città più affascinanti del mondo… Alcuni soggetti sono in grado di brillare al buio, grazie a speciali fibre.

The Gothic atmospheres of the night of Halloween, populated by fanciful creatures, sometimes terrifying, sometimes fascinating, are still etched in our minds and lead me to encounter dragons, unicorns and other creatures printed on canvas and on fabrics by Ludmilla Radchenko. Ludmilla transferred her paintings on fabrics from which are derived scarves and cushions to make her art accessible and portable.  She portrays mythological and fabulous subjects that carrying messages and intrinsic meanings; holds in bottles of perfume the essence of some of the most fascinating cities in the world … Some subjects are able to shine in the darkness, thanks to special fibers.
