Memphis Event by BMW i e Garage Italia Customs

Colori pop, dinamici e vitaminici che infondono allegria e buonumore uniti a forme geometriche che s’incontrano e giocano tra loro richiamano lo stile Memphis degli anni’80. Questo mood audace e creativo è stato declinato da Garage Italia Customs per due dei modelli di BMWi e il risultato è stato insolito, sorprendente, emozionale e divertente. Lapo Elkann ha dato nuova vita a un movimento artistico del passato, regalandogli una nuova giovinezza e sposando appieno lo spirito ottimista insito in lui.
La special edition della BMWi8 è stata presentata in occasione del Salone del Mobile all’Unicredit Pavilion e poi sarà esposta al Frieze a New York.
Per la realizzazione degli spettacolari interni della BMWi8 e della BMWi3 Garage Italia Customs si è avvalsa della speciale collaborazione di Foglizzo 1921.

Pop, dynamic and vitamins colors, which infuse happiness and good mood, and geometric shapes that meet and play among their characterize the Memphis style during the ’80. This bold and creative mood was declined from Garage Italia Customs for two models of BMWi and the result is unusual, surprising, emotional and fun. Lapo Elkann has given new life to an artistic movement of the past, giving it a new youth and optimistic spirit inherent in marrying him. The special edition of BMWi8 was presented at the Salone del Mobile at Unicredit Pavilion and then will be on display at Frieze art fair in New York.
To achieve the spectacular interior of the BMWi8 and the BMWi3 Garage Italy Customs has made use of the special collaboration of Foglizzo 1921.
