Un Tunnel speciale che ci porta indietro nel tempo e ci permette un tuffo nella storia delle straordinarie barche da corsa create dal Cantiere Riva. Luci soffuse, musica ambient e foto in bianco e nero che ritraggono momenti emozionanti creando la giusta atmosfera nella quale immergere gli scafi dal passato glorioso. Riva Ronzino fu il primo a essere costruito e conserva intatto tutto il suo fascino.
Lia Riva ha voluto rendere omaggio a suo nonno, Serafino Riva, organizzando un evento esclusivo, durante il quale gli ospiti selezionati, i collezionisti, i piloti del GPH e la stampa internazionale potessero ammirare questi gioielli, selezionati tra le collezioni europee.

A special tunnel that takes us back in time and allows us a dip in the history of the extraordinary racing boats created by the Riva shipyard. Soft lighting, ambient music, and photos in black and white depicting exciting moments create the right atmosphere in which to dip the hulls with a glorious past. Riva Ronzino was the first to be built and maintains all of its charm. Lia Riva has paid homage to his grandfather, Serafino Riva, organizing an exclusive event, during which selected guests, the collectors, the pilots of the GPH and the international press could admire these jewels, selected from European collections. The Historic Riva Racing boat taking part to the exhibition: 1936 “ RAFALE”: the most powerful racing boat of all time, built in France and equipped with engine form the gigantic Hispano Suiza V12, Owner: Hewett John; 1935 “RONZINO”: the only Riva racer left in the world. Owned by the Count Metello Rossi di Montelera (Martini&Rossi-Torino). The only European racing boat of the ‘30s still active nowadays. Owner: Guido Romani; 1953 “TIMOSSI – SORIANO-ROMANI”: the out-board class racer X-1000 which won the most in Europe. It will be exhibited for the first time after the last race in 1960, it also won in Monte Carlo in 1957 and 1958. Owner: Guido Romani; 1954 “ANTARES II” G. ABBATE FERRARI 2800: the oldest of three racers with Ferrari engine still existing now days. The boat is shown in its original features and it has maintained the condition of the time in which was built.
