The Beatles Edition by Montblanc

La strabiliante creatività e l’incredibile innovazione e audacia che i mitici Beatles hanno saputo portare nella musica hanno segnato la storia e influenzato tendenze, mode e gusti. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison e Ringo Starr reinventavano costantemente il loro repertorio che spaziava dal rock and roll alle ballate pop e dalla musica Indie fino all’hard rock, coinvolgendo con le loro melodie milioni di persone, allora come oggi. Crearono i primi video musicali e le copertine dei loro dischi mixavano in modo rivoluzionario e accattivante moda e arte. A loro Montblanc ha voluto dedicare la nuova Edizione Limitata della collezione  Great Characters.
Le strisce dai colori brillanti della The Great Characters The Beatles Special Edition, richiamano le uniformi indossate dal gruppo sulla copertina dell’album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”; la forma del cappuccio ricorda quella del microfono usato nei leggendari Abbey Road Studios; il cono riprende la forma del bottone posizionato sul tavolo del mixer dello studio di registrazione; la clip raffigura quattro baffi poiché i componenti della band li portavano in alcuni dei loro più famosi ritratti.

Sulla Great Characters, The Beatles Limited Edition 1969, ci sono alcuni simboli che fanno riferimento all’album “Abbey Road”, ad esempio il simbolo della pace, l’intarsio a memoria della targa “LMW 28 IF”, la silhouette dei Beatles che attraversano appunto Abbey Road e il famoso logo Apple raffigurato su numerosi storici vinili; l’incisione della Union Jack è un omaggio alla canzone “Her Majesty”.

La Great Characters, The Beatle Limited Edition 88, è un esempio del virtuosismo tecnico dell’alta manifattura artigiana: filigrana finemente lavorata, sottili intarsi e intricati dettagli. In particolare notiamo la scritta “Yeah Yeah Yeah”, con la quale il Daily Mirror aveva annunciato l’arrivo della Beatles mania negli Stati Uniti.

Per questa Limited Edition è stato realizzato un inchiostro particolare dal colore viola psichedelico, per richiamare lo spirito pionieristico di gruppo; ad esso si aggiunge un notebook, sulla cui copertina in tessuto raffinato sono raffigurati i Beatles.

English: The amazing creativity and the incredible and boldness innovation that the legendary Beatles have managed to bring in music marked the history and influenced trends, fashions and tastes. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr innovated constantly their repertoire ranging from rock and roll to pop ballads and from Indie music to the hard rock, involving millions of people with their melodies, then and now. They created the first music videos and the covers of their records merge in a revolutionary way and appealing fashion and art. Montblanc wanted to dedicate to them the new limited edition collection of Great Characters. The brightly colored strips of “The Great Characters The Beatles“, recall the uniforms worn by the Group on the cover of the album” Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band “; the shape of the cap is a reminiscent of the microphone used in the legendary Abbey Road Studios; in the cone there is the shape of the button placed on the mixer in the recording studio; the clip depicts four moustache because the band’s members wore them in some of their most famous portraits. On the Great Characters, The Beatle Limited Edition 88, there are some symbols that refer to the album “Abbey Road”, such as the peace sign, the inlay in memory of targa “LMW 28 IF”, the silhouette of the Beatles crossing Abbey Road and memo the famous Apple logo depicted on many historians vinyls; the Union Jack is an homage to the song “Her Majesty”. The Great Characters, The Beatle Limited Edition 88, is an example of the technical virtuosity of high quality craftsmanship: finely crafted filigree, thin inlays and intricate details. In particular we note the words “Yeah Yeah Yeah”, by which the Daily Mirror had announced the arrival of the Beatles mania in the United States. For this Limited Edition was created a particular ink color, purple psychedelic, to invoke the pioneering spirit of the band; a notebook, on whose cover with refined fabric depicts the Beatles.
