L’emozione della velocità firmata XCat

Un sole splendente e caldo e il bellissimo lungo lago di Stresa hanno accolto calorosamente questa nuova edizione dell’XCat. Una gara di velocità e di pura adrenalina che vede sfrecciare questi potenti bolidi sulle acque del Lago Maggiore. Sportività e una sana competizione caratterizza gli equipaggi che prendono parte a questa competizione. Nel pomeriggio di venerdì si sono sfidati anche a una partita di tennis da tavolo e il team vincitore, composto da Shaun Torrente e Faleh al Mansoori, ha poi vinto anche la tappa di Stresa a bordo dell’Abu Dhabi 4.

Tra i partecipanti: Dubai Police, con Arif al Zaffein e Nadir bin Hendi, e Team Australia, con Pål Virik Nilsen e Jan Trygve Braten, (rispettivamente secondo e terzo posto); Maritimo di Tom Barry Cotter e Ross Willaton; Consulbrokers con Andrea Comello e Luca Betti; De Mitri di Roberto Lo Piano e Maurizio Carando; Hi-Performance Italia di Giuseppe e Rosario Schiano; 222 Offshore con Giovanni Carpitella e Darren Nicholson; Videx di Alfredo Amato e Joackin Kumlin (con Saul Bibacco reserve driver).

Un evento molto ben riuscito grazie alla collaborazione tra UIM, FIM, lo Studio Media Communication e l’Hotel Regina Palace.

A bright sun and warm sun and the beautiful lakeside of Stresa warmly welcomed this new edition of the XCat. A race of speed and adrenaline that sees these powerful boat darting on the waters of Lake Maggiore. A sportsmanship and healthy competition characterizes the crews taking part in this competition. On Friday afternoon they also challenged each other to a game of table tennis and the winning team, composed of Shaun Torrente and Faleh al Mansoori, won the XCat competition on board the Abu Dhabi 4. Among the participants: Dubai Police, with Arif al Zaffein and Nadir bin Hendi, and Team Australia, with Pål Virik Nilsen and Jan Trygve Braten, (respectively second and third place); Maritimo with Tom Barry Cotter and Ross Willaton; Consulbrokers with Andrea Comello and Luca Betti; De Mitri with Roberto Lo Piano and Maurizio Carando; Hi-Performance Italy with Giuseppe and Rosario Schiano; “222 Offshore” with Giovanni Carpitella and Darren Nicholson; Videx with Alfredo Amato and Joackin Kumlin (Saul Bibacco reserve driver).
