A lovely return to Regina Palace

Ogni volta che torno al Regina Palace di Stresa è come fare un viaggio nel viaggio. Nell’istante in cui ne varco i cancelli mi trovo proiettata in una dimensione fuori dal tempo. Il sorriso mi illumina il volto e le atmosfere gaudenti e sontuose mi abbracciano e mi fanno sentire una regina. Ogni angolo di questo splendido hotel è da vivere e assaporare. Al mio arrivo faccio un incontro piacevole, una Miura arancione mi dà il benvenuto. Poi mi godo una passeggiata nei giardini lussureggianti, respirando l’aria del lago e lasciando lontano il ricordo della calura cittadina. Una sosta sul divanetto dell’Orient Express mi fa viaggiare con la fantasia, riportandomi all’epoca nella quale questo leggendario treno accompagnava l’aristocrazia su questa riva del lago, potrei persino trovarmi come compagni di viaggio la Regina Sofia di Grecia o il compositore Pietro Mascagni… 🙂

Every time I come back to the Regina Palace Hotel at Stresa I go on a journey in a journey. In the exactly moment I cross its gates, I am projected into a out of time dimension. A smile illuminates my face and the gaudy and sumptuous atmospheres embrace me and make me feel like a queen. Every place of this beautiful hotel has to be lived and relished. When I arrive I make a pleasant meeting, an orange Miura welcomes me. Then I enjoy a walk in the lush gardens, breathing the lake air and leaving away the memory of the city heat. A stop on the sofa of the Orient Express makes me travel with imagination, taking me back to the time when this legendary train took the aristocracy to this lake shore, I might even have, as fellows traveller, the Greece Queen Sofia or the composer Pietro Mascagni… 🙂
