“Be Specific” – Vivienne Westwood AW 16/17

La moda non è solo una forma d’arte, non è solo glamour e tendenza, ma è anche un modo per esprimere e comunicare messaggi che, attraverso di essa, possono arrivare al cuore. Tutti noi viviamo in questo splendido pianeta di cui dobbiamo prenderci cura con amore e proteggerlo per poterne conservare la bellezza. “Be Specific” è proprio un accorato appello alle nostre coscienze. La stilista inglese Vivienne Westwood ha desiderato sensibilizzarci su alcuni dei temi che le stanno più a cuore: preservare Venezia, salvaguardare la foresta pluviale e gli oceani e prediligere l’utilizzo dell’energia verde.
Una collezione trasgressiva, vivace, giocosa e capace di mixare stili, colori e fantasie come solo la stilista londinese sa fare. Sfilano abiti gessati, scozzesi, maglie lavorate, stivali colorati e scarpe con la zeppa. Vengono utilizzati tutti i colori abbinati e talora mixati: marrone, arancio, fucsia, cammello, nero, blu, grigio…
Nel desiderio di esprimere il “no Gender” all’ennesima potenza, l’uomo Westwood indossa lunghi e femminili abiti drappeggiati, portati da soli o sopra i pantaloni, e gonnelloni.
Insieme a lei, per creare i capi per il prossimo FW 1617,  lo stilista Andreas Kronthaler, sposato nel 1992.
La sfilata si chiude sulle note di Starman, indiscusso successo del grande David Bowie.

The British designer Vivienne Westwood wanted sensitize us to some themes: to save Venice, save our rainforest, save oceans and switch to green energy.
A transgressive, lively, playful collection, able to mix styles, colors and printed materials, just as the english designer can do. There are pinstripe suits, scottish, plain knitting, colored boots and shoes with wedge. She use all the colors, sometimes mixed: brown, orange, pink, camel, black, blue, gray …
In the desire to express “no gender” to the next fw 1617 Westwood’s man wearing long and feminine draped dresses, worn alone or over pants, and long skirts.
With her, to create he next FW 1617 collection, the designer Andreas Kronthaler, married in 1992.
The fashion show was cloded on the notes of Starman, the undisputed success of the great David Bowie .
