Mercedes – AMG Performance Day Anniversary 50 – Parte 1

Abbiamo accettato l’invito e seguito la Stella verso il mitico Autodromo di Monza per un’occasione molto speciale: festeggiare insieme a Mercedes i 50 anni di Affalterbach. Due giorni di puro sport e divertimento. Le auto più esclusive di AMG ci hanno accolto insieme ai piloti della AMG Driving Academy e ci hanno regalato emozioni e adrenalina su uno dei circuiti più importanti al mondo. Dopo un breve brief, abbiamo indossato il casco e ci siamo diretti in pista. Qui il “mio” pilota Alessandro Astori ha scelto per noi di guidare, per prima, la Mercedes AMG C63, alla sua destra un pilota della AMG Driving Academy e io sul sedile posteriore. La sensazione della velocità, il rombo del motore, gli stacchi, le frenate, la pista che scorre velocissima, le curve…un’esperienza unica e da batticuore.

La nostra giornata è volata tra prove in pista, simulatori, la parata dei proprietari di auto AMG, test drive e un gustoso pranzo nell’area hospitality. Tra gli amici di Mercedes abbiamo incontrato i preziosi orologi IWC e Beppe Abrosini, direttore generale IWC Italia. Mentre lasciamo l’autodromo ci viene spontaneo un sorriso, c’è un altro giorno per goderci queste fantastiche automobili.

We accepted the invitation and followed the Star to the legendary Monza circuit for a very special occasion: celebrate with Mercedes the 50 years of Affalterbach. Two days of pure fun and sport. The most exclusive cars of AMG greeted us with the pilots of the AMG Driving Academy and gave us emotions and adrenalin. After a short brief, we wore a helmet and we headed to the track. Here “my” pilot Alexander Astori picked for us to drive, first, the Mercedes AMG C63, on his right, a pilot of the AMG Driving Academy, and me in the back seat. The sensation of speed, the roar of the engine, deadlifts, braking the track fast, flowing curves … heart-pounding experience. Our day has flown between track testing, simulators, car owners patrata AMG, test drive and a tasty lunch in the hospitality area. Among the friends of Mercedes we encountered the precious IWC Watches and the IWC Italy General, Beppe Abrosini. As we leave the track there is a spontaneous smile, there’s another day to enjoy these fantastic cars.
